Backpack Drive + Back-to-School Fiesta! ✏️📚🌮🎉🎶

We are partnering with ¡Levantar! in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood of Redwood City for their summer backpack drive and back-to-school fiesta on Saturday, August 1.


THREE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

DROP OFF A NEW BACKPACK: Shop for one or more backpacks (elementary age) and bring them to the sanctuary foyer by Sunday, July 26. Please include the exact items requested on the shopping list so all children receive the same things. This is a great activity to do with your kids!

GET SHOPPING LIST

MAKE A DONATION for backpacks and supplies: We will purchase in bulk and NCC ministry groups will assemble new backpacks to be distributed at the Back-to-School fiesta at Levantar on August 1. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to fund approximately 200 backpacks.

VOLUNTEER @ LEVANTAR:

  • Friday, July 31 - Assemble backpacks with donated supplies from other organizations or help with fiesta set-up.

  • Saturday, August 31- Back-to-School Fiesta! Help with set-up, kids activities, serving food, distributing backpacks, or clean up!
