Community is the heart of our church.

We believe God moves and shapes us through our relationships, so you will find many opportunities to connect on this journey of learning together through joys and challenges, while also having fun and building lasting friendships along the way.

Start by gathering on the patio with us on Sundays after worship for food and conversation. We pray you will find community here.

...a community of glad neighborliness in which faithful folk genuinely delight in one another and happily share a vision of a world that is engaged by the Spirit.

Volunteer Teams

Meet new people and find connection by joining one of our teams. Welcome people on Sunday mornings, hang out with kids or students, lead a small group, or serve behind the scenes. There are many ways to get involved at NCC. Let us know your interest, and we’ll help you get connected.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
— 1 Peter 4:10

Start a 3-2-1 group…

When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.
— Matthew 18:20 (The Message)

3-2-1 groups are a simple, deep, intentional, transformational way to encourage spiritual friendship around the table for disciples who long to follow Jesus and grow together in Christ-likeness. Quite simply, the plan is for three friends to meet for two hours over a meal one time a month with the intentional goal of helping each other grow spiritually.

Essential components of a 3-2-1 gathering:

  • Eat a meal together in a quiet place. This could be in someone’s home, outdoors, or in a public place that has ample separation and quiet to allow intentional and thoughtful conversation.

  • Share life through thoughtful conversation and questions.

  • Pray together.
