Backpack Drive + Back-to-School Fiesta! ✏️📚🌮🎉🎶

We are partnering with ¡Levantar! in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood of Redwood City for their summer backpack drive and back-to-school fiesta on Saturday, August 1.

THREE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

PURCHASE AND FILL A NEW BACKPACK: Shop for one or more backpacks (elementary age) and bring them to church any Sunday between June 14 and July 26. Please include the exact items requested on the shopping list so all children receive the same things. This is a great activity to do with your kids! Drop off at the NCKids check-in desk in the sanctuary foyer.

MAKE A DONATION: Our goal is $10,000 to fund 150 backpacks that our NCC Kids and Student ministries will assemble and deliver in July.

VOLUNTEER @ LEVANTAR:

  • Thursdays in July - Inventory and organize supplies that are coming in from other local organizations.

  • Friday, July 31 - Assemble backpacks with those supplies, or help with fiesta set-up.

  • FIESTA!! Saturday, August 1 from 3-6 pm - Help with set-up, kids activities, serving food, distributing backpacks, or clean up!
